Mark Thompson

Mark is a national speaker and author who has worked with educators at all levels concerning issues of school reform.

Mark's experience as a classroom teacher, parent, and post-secondary administrator allow him to relate to many types of audiences. He has also served as trainer for the Florida Department of Education, and is now Director of the National Educator Program at Stetson University-Celebration in Florida, in partnership with PLS and the NEA.

His areas of expertise include career academy design and implementation, curriculum integration, team working skills, peer coaching, and higher order questioning.

He has received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of South Florida, and is presently working on his Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska.

Mark's humor and enthusiasm are a valuable addition to any professional development program.
