Steve Sassaman received his bachelor of science degree from East Stroudsburg State College in 1973 and completed his master of arts degree in 1980, also from East Stroudsburg.

For the past 23 years he has been involved in high school and college education work in areas of teaching, coaching and administration. As an instructor of graduate courses in education for Wilkes University, Drexel University, Neumann College, and Allentown College, Steve is regarded by students in his courses as a caring, motivating, and effective instructor. Presently working as PLS's Vice-President, Mid-Atlantic Region, Steve communciates his enthusiasm for learning in a positive, dynamic manner.

Since 1985, Steve has presented professional development workshops and keynote addresses for educators in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Presently he is serving as lead consultant for the Delaware New Teacher/Mentor program, training lead mentors in leadership skills, mentors in peer coaching training, and new teachers in the skills and strategies of effective instruction.

With over 25 years of education experience, Steve is regarded as a caring, motivating, and effective instructor and presenter. He communicates his enthusiasm for learning in a positive, dynamic manner.
