Barbara Pearl is an internationally recognized award winning educator and author. She received her Masters in Education from La Salle University where she graduated with honors and was selected as the graduate school faculty award winner of the 2003 “Excellence in Academic Achievement and Leadership.”

Today, Barbara is recognized around the country for her inspiring and motivational programs that promote a "positive message" about mathematics and language arts. She represents a role model for other females and minorities in the field of mathematics. Ms. Pearl has been featured on national TV and in Creative Classroom and has been described as an "excellent instructor with a true love of her subject and a gift for knowing her audience." As an adjunct professor, she is active in research and her workshops are designed to support national standards and curriculum requirements.

She is the recipient of numerous awards including: three times for National Library Week, the “Ezra Jack Keats” award for her multicultural Program of the Year, and participant in the J. F. Kennedy “Artist as Educator” Seminar. Her program “Origami: Unfolding the Secret” about mathematics and geometry was recently selected for the 2006-2007 Artmobile tour which traveled to over 30,000 school children throughout Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Ms. Pearl presents at major educational conferences and is dedicated to improving the quality of teaching and learning mathematics and literacy. Her presentations are filled with concrete examples and challenging questions to bring out the best in all educators. All programs are flexible to accommodate your needs.
