Wendell Christensen

Wendell Christensen has a variety of teaching experience from grades K-12. He is recognized as a proven leader in increasing performance in children in Title One schools. He is the co-author of Reading and Writing Strategically: Raising the Bar of Expectations, a book designed to improve teacher performance in the classroom by employing effective teaching strategies.

Wendell is dedicated to creating learning environments that provide for optimal learning conditions for students and classroom management techniques for teachers. He firmly believes that his own successes can be attributed to on-going professional development, peer mentoring, coaching, and his belief in using Reflective Practice. This self-assessment guides him in assisting others to become better teachers and increase student-learning outcomes. His passion and dedication for meeting the needs of students are evident in his methods.
