Diana Brown

Diana Hayes Brown has taught for 24 years in the Florida public school system. Her teaching experience at both the elementary and high school levels enables her to relate to a wide range of grade levels. She holds a BA degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education, Specific Learning Disabilities. She is certified in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Reading K-12, and Special Education K-12. She coordinated a school district professional development program for teachers and principals and later served as Professional Development Coordinator/ Specialist for Florida Education Association.

After twenty-eight years in public education, Diana has joined the staff of Performance Learning Systems, Inc. Throughout her career, Diana has focused on effective teaching leading to increased student learning. Her passion for students and educators enhances the sessions she leads and facilitates.

With knowledge in a broad range of areas, Diana enjoys working with both experienced and beginning teachers pushing them deeper into reflective practice to validate existing practice and encourage change of practice to promote increased student learning outcomes.
