About Brenda Stallion-Barkley
Brenda Barkley's diverse background includes serving as: teacher of home economics, instructor for Ohio State University, educational consultant for the Ohio State Department of Education, assistant professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Director of Clinical and Field Experiences for the University of Connecticut, and associate professor at Western Kentucky University. She is currently a consultant working with Performance Learning Systems.
Brenda received her Ph.D. from Ohio State University in the Department of Educational Leadership, in Comprehensive Vocational Education and Teacher Education. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Murray State University and graduate degree from Western Kentucky University. Brenda specializes in classroom management, mentoring, classroom instructional strategies, peer coaching, block scheduling, and the design of professional-development programs.
