Professional Goal:

My goal as a teacher is to continually improve as an educator while instilling a love of learning, building teamwork and positive relationships in the classroom.

My favorite moment in teaching:

A hard to reach, difficult student came to visit me several years after he was in my class. He thanked me, hugged me and said that I not only taught him academics but I taught him how to be a better person. It blew me away because that was a rough year for me. Thinking back, I should have used that moment to thank him because I too learned a great deal that year.
