What I love most about teaching:

I love teaching because every year you get a chance to bond with your students. It's like adding members to your own family.

My favorite moment in teaching:

One moment that I won't forget is when a fellow teacher came up to me and said that a little boy in her class was having trouble with a math concept. She explained it to him in another way and he said, "Oh yeah, I get it. Mrs. Marek taught me how to do that last year." It just makes you realize that they do listen and everything you say is important.

Enjoy coaching basketball, playing all sports, active in community functions, gardening and most important, family.
