Why I love teaching PLS courses:

When I’m collaborating with other educators, I get inspired. I like being a catalyst for the amazing ideas that come from teachers working together in a PLS course. Everything is relevant to the classroom and it’s easy to plan lessons that are intentional and challenging for students.

What I love most about teaching:

I love being a positive influence for young people and educators. When students get excited about learning, about new knowledge, and about making connections with real-world applications, I share in that excitement and celebrate their accomplishments. Teaching allows me to have moments like those almost on a daily basis.

My favorite moment in teaching:

One of my favorite moments was the first time a ‘veteran’ teacher wanted to ‘steal’ one of my lessons. I felt proud that my hard work in combining high standards and creativity resulted in lessons that this respected educator would want to use also.
