What I love most about teaching:

I really enjoy watching my students grow socially and emotionally by accepting more responsibility for their actions throughout the year. It’s also great to see them become aware of the world around them (since I teach World Geography). Teaching Middle School students can be quite amusing at times. You just never know what’s going to happen. If you teach in a Middle School, you know what I mean.

My favorite moment in teaching:

It’s a great feeling running into former students, years later, and having them tell me how much they enjoyed my class and how valuable it is to their life after high school. Many of my former students travel due to their occupation or the fact that many of them have been deployed overseas because of their military commitment.
