Mark A. Thompson has worked with educators from forty-one states on district planning issues as well as classroom strategies to help all learners achieve. He serves as technical assistance provider for the federal Small Learning Communities grants, assists in planning for sustainable school initiatives and designing long range staff development plan. He creates and hosts several national and regional conferences on career academies and small learning communities throughout the year.

Mark also designed Leadership Week, an administrator orientation to leadership, for new applicants in the assistant principal pool in a Florida school district. In addition to his work with academies for high schools, he also instructs PLS® Coaching and Learning Styles courses with the Kaleidoscope profile.
